Repeat prescriptions can be issued without a consultation if this has previously been arranged with your doctor. Requests can be made in person, or by post with an SAE. Whenever possible please tick the boxes on your prescription slip and give that to us in order to ensure accuracy. Telephone requests can be made after 11.00am but we prefer to reserve this service for the housebound and elderly. Please allow two working days for the prescription to be processed. Some chemists offer a service of collecting prescriptions from us. Speak to the pharmacist.
A review date is written on your prescription. If you have not seen the doctor or practice nurse recently then you may be asked to make an appointment for your medication to be reviewed.
If there are any difficulties with your repeat prescriptions please discuss them with the reception staff.
